Good day. My practice is coming along slow but steady. My dreams are becoming crisp and vivid again like before when I used to practice. Today we have an excerpt from C.W. Leadbeater's classic "The Astral Plane". Now I am not a Theosophist, but I find much of their research accurate and highly interesting as well as helpful in practice. I have much work before me today. And then I must go to my night job. I work with the public. Sometimes biting my tongue is so hard. We get the rudest customers. But there are no jobs to be had here in Ohio so I must hold it in. I'm the only man at my job. I work with lets see.....1,2,3,4,5,6, women. Six women and me. It is becoming increasingly difficult because they all pay attention to all these little details you know, stuff that is so small in importance that I let it slide. They don't. Most of them are OCD. I am pretty sure the boss and a few of the girls want me gone. 2 girls got fired last week. Why am I telling you this? Just need to let it out. I'm going to use all my emotion, all my anger, all my potential energy, to seperate from this bag of blood and bones, and into the spirit world, into the astral planes. I know in my gut that there are answers to questions to be found INSIDE myself, in inner space. It is the ultimate adventure. Here is the excerpt:

CHURCHYARD GHOSTS
If the ghost is seen hovering about a grave it is probably the etheric shell of a newlyburied person, though it may be the astral body of a living man haunting in sleep the tomb of a friend; or again, it may be a materialized thoughtform – that is, an artificial elemental created by the energy with [150] which a man thinks of himself as present at that particular spot. These varieties would be easily distinguishable one from the other by any one accustomed to use astral vision, but an unpractised person would be likely to call them all vaguely "ghosts".

APPARITIONS OF THE DYING
Apparitions at the time of death are by no means uncommon, and are often really visits paid by the astral form of the dying man just before what we elect to call the moment of dissolution; though here again they are just as likely to be thought-forms called into being by his earnest wish to see some friend once more before he passes into an unfamiliar condition. There are some instances in which the visit is paid just after the moment of death instead of just before; and in such a case the visitor is really a ghost; but for various causes this form of apparition is far less frequent than the other.

BELL-RINGING, STONE-THROWING, ETC.
Another class of hauntings, which take the form of bell-ringing, stonethrowing, or the breaking of crockery, has already been mentioned, and is almost invariably the work of elemental forces, either set blindly in motion by the clumsy efforts of an ignorant person trying to attract the attention of is surviving friends, or intentionally employed by some childishly mischievous nature-spirit. To such manifestations the name poltergeist is usually given.

ASTRAL RESOURCES
To understand the methods by which a large class of physical phenomena are produced, it is necessary to have some comprehension of the various resources mentioned above, which a person functioning on the astral plane finds at his command; and this is a branch of the subject which [158] it is by no means easy to make clear, especially as it is hedged about with certain obviously necessary restrictions. It may perhaps help us if we remember that the astral world may be regarded as in many ways only an extension of the physical, and the idea that matter may assume the etheric state (in which, though intangible to us, it is yet purely physical) may serve to show us how the one melts into the other. In fact, in the Hindu conception of Jagrat, or "the waking state," the physical and astral planes are combined, its seven subdivisions corresponding to the four conditions of physical matter, and the three broad divisions of astral matter which have previously been explained.
With this thought in our minds it is easy to move a step further, and grasp the idea that astral vision, or rather astral perception, may from one point of view be defined as the capability of receiving an enormously increased number of different sets of vibrations. In our physical bodies one small set of vibrations is perceptible to us as sound; another small set of much more rapid vibrations affects us as light; and again another set as electric action; but there are immense numbers of intermediate vibrations which produce no result which our [159] physical senses can cognize at all. It will readily be seen that if all, or even some only, of these intermediates, with all the complications producible by differences of wave-length, are perceptible on the astral plane, our comprehension of nature might be greatly increased on that level, and we might be able to acquire much information which is now hidden from us.

CLAIRVOYANCE
It is admitted that some of these vibrations pass through solid matter with perfect ease, so that this enables us to account scientifically for the peculiarities of etheric vision, though for astral sight the theory of the fourth dimension gives a neater and more complete explanation. It is clear that the mere possession of this astral vision by a being would at once account for his capability to produce many results that seem wonderful to us – such, for example, as the reading of a passage from a closed book. When we remember, furthermore, that this faculty includes the power of thought-reading (in so far as that thought affects emotions), and also, when combined with the knowledge of the projection of currents in the astral currents, that of observing [160] a desired object in almost any part of the world, we see that many of the phenomena of clairvoyance are explicable even without rising above this level. I would refer any one who desires to study more closely this interesting subject to my little book, Clairvoyance, in which its varieties are tabulated and explained, and numerous examples given.

PREVISION AND SECOND-SIGHT
True, trained, and absolutely reliable clairvoyance calls into operation an entirely different set of faculties, but as these belong to a higher plane than the astral, they form no part of our present subject. The faculty of accurate prevision, again, appertains altogether to that higher plane, yet flashes or reflections of it frequently show themselves to purely astral sight, more especially among simple-minded people who live under suitable conditions – what is called "secondsight" among the Highlanders of Scotland being a wellknown example.
Another fact which we must not forget is that any intelligent inhabitant of the astral plane is not only able to perceive these etheric vibrations, but can also – if he has learnt how it is done – adapt [161] them to his own ends, or himself set them in motion.

ASTRAL FORCES
Super-physical forces and the methods of managing them are not subjects about which much can be written for publication at present, though there is reason to suppose that it may not be long before at any rate some application of one or two of them come to be known to the world at large; but it may perhaps be possible, without transgressing the limits of the permissible, to give so much of an idea of them as shall be sufficient to show in outline how certain phenomena are performed.
All who have much experience of spiritualistic séances at which physical results are produced must at one time or another have seen evidence of the employment of practically resistless force in, for example, the instantaneous movement of enormous weights, and so on; and if of a scientific turn of mind, they may perhaps have wondered whence this force was obtained, and what was the leverage employed. As usual in connection with astral phenomena, there are several ways in which such [162] work may have been done, but it will be enough for the moment to hint at four.

ETHERIC CURRENTS
First, there are great etheric currents constantly sweeping over the surface of the earth from pole to pole in volume which makes their power as irresistible as that of the rising tide, and there are methods by which this stupendous force may be safely utilized, though unskillful attempts to control it would be fraught with frightful danger.

ETHERIC PRESSURE
Secondly, there is what can best be described as an etheric pressure, somewhat corresponding to, though immensely greater than, the atmospheric pressure. In ordinary life we are as little conscious of one of these pressures as we are of the other, but nevertheless they both exist, and if science were able to exhaust the ether from a given space, as it can exhaust the air, the one could be proved as readily as the other. The difficulty of doing that lies in the fact that matter in the etheric condition freely interpenetrates matter in all states below it, so that there is [163] as yet no means within the knowledge of our physicists by which any given body of ether can be isolated from the rest. Practical Occultism, however, teaches how this can be done, and thus the tremendous force of etheric pressure can be brought into play.

LATENT ENERGY
Thirdly, there is a vast store of potential energy which has become dormant in matter during the involution of the subtle into the gross, and by changing the condition of the matter some of this may be liberated and utilized, somewhat as latent energy in the form of heat may be liberated by a change in the condition of visible matter.

SYMPATHETIC VIBRATION
Fourthly, many striking results, both great and small, may be produced by an extension of a principle which may be described as that of sympathetic vibration. Illustrations taken from the physical plane seem generally to misrepresent rather than elucidate astral phenomena, because they can never be more than partially applicable; but the recollection of two simple facts of ordinary life may [164] help to make this important branch of our subject clearer, if we are careful not to push the analogy further than it will hold good.
It is well known that if one of the wires of a harp be made to vibrate vigorously, its movement will call forth sympathetic vibrations in the corresponding strings of any number of harps placed round it, if they are tuned to exactly the same pitch. It is also well known that when a large body of soldiers crosses a suspension bridge it is necessary for them to break step, since the perfect regularity of their ordinary march would set up a vibration in the bridge which would be intensified by every step they took until the point of resistance of the iron was passed, when the whole structure would fly to pieces.
With these two analogies in our minds (never forgetting that they are only partial) it may seem more comprehensible that one who knows exactly at what rate to start his vibrations – knows, so to speak, the keynote of the class of matter he wishes to affect – should be able by sounding that keynote to call forth an immense number of sympathetic vibrations. When this is done on the physical plane no additional energy is developed; but on [165] the astral plane there is this difference, that the matter with which we are dealing is far less inert, and so when called into action by these sympathetic vibrations it adds its own living force to the original impulse, which may thus be multiplied manifold; and then by further rhythmic repetition of the original impulse, as in the case of the soldiers marching over the bridge, the vibrations may be so intensified that the result is out of all apparent proportion to the cause. Indeed, it may be said that there is scarcely any limit to the conceivable achievements of this force in the hands of a great Adept who fully comprehends its possibilities; for the very building of the Universe itself was but the result of the vibrations set up by the Spoken Word.

MANTRAS
The class of mantras or spells which produce their result not by controlling some elemental, but merely by the repetition of certain sounds, also depend for their efficacy upon this action of sympathetic vibration.

Steve Quayle and Russ Dizdar Are Mistaken

Good day. Yesterday my family celebrated a birthday. It was a beautiful day. Our kids had a lot of fun. We got my boy the Chronicles of Riddick trilogy on dvd. We got some back-packs and some posters and stuff for him. And a new air-powered rifle that shoots pellets like a bb gun. Very cool. I am fortunate to be able to buy prizes for our children on birthdays and holidays. We try to stick to prizes that have some degree of practical use. We try to stay away from worthless trinkets or video games. We have a video game system. It is a nintendo game cube which was outdated like 5 years ago. The kids play it maybe 2 hours per week. Compare that to kids with an X-box 280zx 5000 turbo-charged Rainbow six ipod wi playstation 950000 who play the game 10-12 hours per day! 70+ hours per week! Yikes! Anyway, we had a party day yesterday so I did not practice the dreamchecks and mindfullness very much at all. I did have some semi-lucid dreams last night though, but I forgot to put the dream journal near my sleeping spot. Today I am regrouping, and redoubling my efforts for dreamchecks and affirming the eventuality of astral projection and/or lucid dreaming. +++ I was checking out Steve Quayles website because I listen to the Q-Files once or twice per week. I like Steve Quayle and his show is great. But I disagree with his guest Russ Dizdar. Russ Dizdar preaches that remote viewing and astral plane travel are in and of themselves evil. Not true. Do evil men make use of these abilities? Yes of course they do. Do evil men use the Holy Bible for evil ends? Yes. Do evil men use science to commit sinister deeds? Yes. Is science evil? No. +++ The subtle energy body is a natural part of our physical form, it is not something made by demons in a dark ritual. The astral planes are a natural part of the multi-dimensional energy matrix we call the universe. The Lord Jesu himself said "In my Father's house are many mansions". Every year more discoveries are made, bringing what was once thought of as magic into the realm of science. If Russ Dizdar really wants to fight evil, he should join the Astral resistance and take the fight to the spiritual enemy on the real battleground. The book of Revelation describes what John saw while he was "in the spirit", or "out of body". John was in the spiritual planes. What he was doing was not "of the devil", it was a spiritual ability or spiritual gift. This ability belongs to us just like the ability to dream. Is dreaming "evil"? No. Of course not. Enoch travelled out of body. Muhammed travelled out of body. Ezekiel travelled out of body. Countless sages and saints have done the same. Countless holy men and lady-saints have recieved visions while dreaming or in a spiritual trance or "in the spirit" (out of body). To glorify the power of evil, like on Russ Dizdar's website, only makes evil more powerful. And to preach that out of body exploration is evil and of the devil is playing right into the ignorance which evil requires to exist in the first place. I will give you the link to Russ Dizdar's website so that you can see what I mean. This man could be a powerful astral warrior if he would let go of his preconcieved notions and false ideas. What was good for heros of the Bible is good for us too. We are supposed to fight and struggle just like those champions of the Bible did. There are many opinions and personal dogmatic ideas and sensational dispensations which have been woven into the Christian culture over the centuries that are just simply not accurate or true. We have to find it out for ourselves. And you can't do that from a book. I for one am going in. I am going IN to that spirit world within, and find it out for myself. God would not forbid that. Strange Happenings

Something very strange happened to me just a few minutes ago. Three days ago I was out in the woods and I had my machete with me. My son and I were practicing blending in with our surroundings and stuff. When we were done, I realized that the clip which goes on the machete sheath was gone. I looked around the woods but could not find it. Then when I came in the house just a few minutes ago, I saw the clip from my machete fall from the ceiling of the kitchen area. I do not understand this. It has never happened before that I know of. I have heard of this type of thing happening to others, but it's something else to see it for yourself. I might add that nobody else was in my house at the time. Very strange. Very very very strange. Do you feel like something strange is happening in the world? The other day here in Ohio, something was happening in broad daylight that looked like the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. It was rainbow colored lights shimmering all over the sky. It was not raining. Then the week before I saw the star turn totally white. Alot of people call it "the sun", but I call it "the star". It is "our" star right? I mean it brings forth all of the life giving energy we need here on earth, and it is the only star within at least 4 or 5 light years distance of our planet. So truly it is "the star". Anyway, a week or so ago I saw the star turn this super weird silvery-white color. I have never seen that happen until then. Then we see all these celebrities dropping like flies. Then this object drops out of nowhere that I lost a few days before. A series of coincidences? Possibly. But the machete clip has me stumped. Have you ever had that happen? It might be the most crucial thing you ever read. +++ Okay, back to the Astral. My dreams are getting more intense. I woke up last night at 03:00 hrs, and wrote down the dream I was having. It was a nightmare. It was horrible. At the very end of it, I said to myself "this is a dream". But I was so relieved that it was not my waking reality, that I woke up. Next time I need to stay calm when I realize it's a dream. Then I can do some lucid dream work. +++ The books say that it is good to have a goal in mind so that when you go lucid, you will have a focus point for your dream. Like a mission or an objective. My first objective is to look at my hands. Then to see if I can thrust my hand through a solid object. Once I accomplish this first mission, then I will chart out mission #2. +++ Today I welcome you who practice Christianity of the Greek Orthodox or Russian Orthodox tradition. Welcome. The small town I live in has only one hermitage or monastery, and it is an Orthodox hermitage where the monks make wine and paint temple icons. It is a very old and pious order. During my own personal quest, I acquired an old, tattered text called the Philokalia. It is one of my treasures. I repaired the binding myself and reinforced it with clear tape. The saints who wrote down the words of the Philokalia reached the very heights of spiritual perfection. There are accounts of certain saints seeing events while they were happening, far, far away from where they were at. In other words they were remote viewing in real time. Of course these monks considered this a spiritual gift from Lord Jesu. And why not? Why shouldn't they look at it that way? It worked for them. They practice unceasing prayer using what we in the modern age call the Jesus Prayer. "Kyrie Eleison" or "Lord Jesu Christe, have mercy upon me". They would pray this prayer all day long until their mind became one-pointed and self-mastered. Opening their souls to the sublime gifts. So, Orthodox Christians, I say to you: "welcome". +++ I will be doing dream checks as often as I can remember today. And tonight I will lay down to sleep repeating to myself: "I maintain awareness as my body falls asleep". Good day.

Peyote and the Alien

Good morning. I did not achieve lucidity last night. But that's okay, it takes 21 days for data to be downloaded into the subconscious mind. We just have to keep going is all. Keep dream checking. It also will help to read about lucid dreaming, think about lucid dreaming, and meditate on it. Affirm to yourself that you ARE a lucid dreamer. I thought of another lucid dream tool. Everytime someone says the word "I", as in "I will go to the store" or "I am happy", in my mind I will take that "I" that the person said, and add to it: "will realize I am dreaming while I'm dreaming". People say "I" more than anything else, so this will be highly effective. Yesterday we talked about mantras for astral projection. Today we have another one I found. Here is an excerpt from a book:

The Mantra EGIPTO
Written by Samael Aun Weor

Our disciples must acquire the power of Astral Body projection. This power is acquired by vocalizing daily for an hour the sacred mantra Egipto. The vowel “E” makes the thyroid gland vibrate and grants the initiate the power of the occult ear. The “G” awakens the chakra of the liver, and when this chakra has reached its full development, then, the initiate can enter and leave the physical body any time at will. The vowel “I,” combined with the letter “P,” develops clairvoyance in the initiate, and the power to depart in the Astral Body through the window of Brahma, which is the pineal gland. Pronounce the letter “T” with force over the vowel “O, “ which is intimately related with the chakra of the heart; this is how the initiate can acquire the power to project the self through this plexus and thus travel in his Astral Body.
The correct pronunciation of this mantra is as follows:

Those who still do not have the ability to project themselves in the Astral Body with our clues, lack this power. This mantra Egipto seems very powerful to me. I am going to work with it. +++ Today the Astral Resistance extends a well-wishing welcome to those fortunate souls in the Native American Church. The N.A.C. holds the sacred peyote cactus to be their holy sacrament. I have always desired greatly to take part in this ceremony, but I do not think that non-native Americans are allowed to participate. I have studied their ceremonies and teachings and have found them to be truly in tune with goodness and beauty and reality. I myself have experienced the sacred cactus. But it was not the same as what the N.A.C. does. I was alone, with no Roadman to guide me. I ate ALOT of the absolutely bitter fleshy, pulpy cacti. Then I drank ALOT of the cactus juice on top of that. I crawled into my tipi in the woods near our home. After a short while I crawled back out of the tipi and vomited violently and copiously. This will sound pretty far out, but I vomited up something which looked like a little alien. I buried it in the dirt next to the tipi. I could never put in words all that happened to me in the next 10 hours after I vomited. I have also sniffed an Amazonian powder snuff made of Yopo seeds. Oh, it was horrible. I was surrounded by vipers and snakes and serpents. It too caused me to vomit. +++ The sacred mushroom called the Golden Teacher was another one of my experiences during my quest for Truth. The mushroom was pleasant, did not make me barf, and was very gentle. A voice inside my head began to communicate with me on a level so personal it was disturbing. I did not like what the voice was saying. Again, I did not have a guide. This was over ten years ago. I have not ingested entheogens since that time. If I ever get the opportunity to participate in the Native American Church ceremony, I would do it without hesitation. But not on my own, alone, without an experienced guide. It is scary, WAY scary. Instead I will learn to lucid dream. From there I will project into the spirit world. I have to. I must. I will.

Dream Yoga and Astral Power-Words

In the past 2 days, the electricity here where I live has failed 5 times. Yesterday a series of electrical storms lit Ohio up like the 4th of July. The temperature was up to 96* so the storms were expected. I have read in Robert Bruce's books that astral projection is more difficult during electrical storms. +++ Last night I repeated some affirmations about lucid dreaming. I also sent out what I call "messengers". They are kind of like carrier pigeons, except they are balls of thought-form energy. I send them out while I am awake. I send them on into the astral planes with instruction to come back to me when I am dreaming, with the intention of making me realize I am dreaming. I will send out more today. Eventually either #1- they will find me and tell me I am dreaming, and thus making me lucid, or #2- I will send out so many that it will be in my subconscious mind to realize I am dreaming, also making me lucid. Either way, I will become lucid and I will realize that I am dreaming, while I am dreaming. Then I will accomplish my first mission. The first mission is to simply look at my hands while dreaming, and push my hand through a solid object. I will do this. Yes. I will report this victory to you when it happens. If you beat me to it, for Pete's sake leave a comment in the comment box and tell me! Don't be shy, I won't bite you. +++ Okay, I told you that we would look at a few power-words, or mantras for projecting the subtle body. Here are a few to make use of: the first one is- "Faraon". Pronounced "faaaaaaah.......Raaaaaaaah........Oooownnnn". The first part "Fa" is like fa la la la la in the Christmas jingle. The second part "Ra" is like "Ra ra shish boom ba". And the third part "Ooooownnn" is like how you own a car or own a house. Except all three syllables are made long like faaaaaaa-raaaaaaa-ooooownn, get it? Say it a few times when you are laying down for bed, and if you want to you can just say it in your mind instead of aloud. Just make sure that you vibrate the thought-sound in your mind. +++ Another mantra is "Rama". Pronounced Raaaaaaaah-maaaaaaaah. Also, the power word "Aum" can be attached to any words to make them power words. Like if I want to hit a home run really bad, I say "Om, I'm hitting a home run,Om". Or "Aum, I will realize I am dreaming, Aum". +++ Today I extend a welcome to those in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Especially those Tibetan Buddhists who practice Dream Yoga. You see, Tibetan Buddhists have been astral travellers for a very, very long time. In Dream Yoga, the practitioner learns to leave the body and do their spiritual exercises even while the body sleeps. That way they can pray and meditate nearly 24 hours per day. Some Tibetan monks or Lamas, memorize entire books and scriptures. They practice reciting the scriptures during the day while they work and during the night while the body sleeps. Only the body needs sleep, the mind can work non-stop. No wonder some Tibetan Buddhists attain exalted spiritual stature. It's because they work on themselves 24 hours per day! So, The Astral Resistance salutes those great saints of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Aum. +++ If you are following along with the rest of us in our dream-work, don't forget to do the dream-checks all day long to see if you are dreaming. Then it will become downloaded into the subconscious mind and you will check for dreaming while you ARE dreaming, then you will become lucid and will remember to look at your hands. When you look at your hands, see if you can push them through a solid object. Keep a journal next to your sleeping spot so you can write stuff down as soon as you wake up. Don't forget. We can do this.

Astral Awareness - Waking Clarity

Attention. Mindfullness. Clarity. These aspects of consciousness must be cultivated. The Astral Resistance would like to extend greetings and welcome to you who practice Falun Dafa and Eckankar. I am familiar with Eckankar to some degree, but Falun Dafa remains a mystery to me. I do know that the Red Chinese oppressive government goes to extremes to persecute, torture, imprison, and utterly destroy Falun Gong/Falun Dafa practitioners. If the New World Order controlled communists are against Falun Gong, then that is enough to convince me that Falun Gong must be a very good thing indeed. So, Falun Gong members, to you we say: "Welcome good people, welcome". I have read some of the Eckenkar books, which I found interesting, and similar to the Holy Vedic teachings. In fact one of the times that I awoke from sleep, in the vibrational state, fully paralyzed, was a night that I had been reading a book by Paul Twitchel just before dozing off. I woke up with the most intense electrical energy pulsing through my body or rather my subtle/astral body. It was so strange I just was astounded that this was actually happening to me. So again, you who are practicing Eckankar, to you I also say: "welcome". Every post we will try to recognize and comment on one or two religious traditions. +++ So if you were here yesterday, you know that our first mission is to do 6-7 dream checks every hour, or more if we can. For more details on that, please read yesterday's post called: "Our First Mission is...". I myself did not do quite as well as I wanted to. I remembered to do a dream check 3 or 4 times per hour. I did focus and concentrate on my intention to realize that I am dreaming while I am dreaming. Tonight I will bring out a notebook and pen, and set it next to my sleeping spot. When I wake up I will immediately jot down whatever I recall. This is a big help in going lucid. I am affirming that I will be able to maintain 100% alert consciousness 24 hours per day, while sleeping/dreaming and while awake. This can be done, and we will apply ourselves to impeccable clarity. Asleep or awake. In the body or out of the body. Tonight I am also going to listen to one of my hemi-sync CDs, as I am doing the affirmation-concentration on maintaining awareness while the body sleeps. The Astral Resistance will report on it in Thursday's post. Also on Thursday we will share a power word mantra designed to invoke an out of body experience. +++ So, in short, try to practice doing dream checks today, all day. Our First Mission is....

Welcome to the Astral Resistance. I was at one time, well on my way to mastering my potential energies and abilities. I was practicing Kriya Yoga daily. Meditation and practice were something I did 2 or 3x per day. It was not uncommon at all for me to actually see the triune astral eye which is actually a triple gateway to the subtle energy realms. I escaped this physical body at least twice that I remember. My "me-niss" was outside and away from, my fleshly carriage. I have also been lucid in the dream planes. But I fell away from my spiritual practice. The almost constant astral sound coming from the right side of the mind however, has stayed with me. I have learned to make some use of the changes in frequency, sometimes it alerts me that something bad is happening or that something bad is about to happen. Also certain types of people affect the change in frequency. Some people resonate with the pleasing sound, and some people are in disharmony with natural frequency and I will hear the pleasing astral sound begin to change, shifting over to the left side, alerting me that the person has evil intentions. I am refocusing the energies I still have towards the goal of nightly journeys out of body into the subtle planes from which I can affect change upon myself. With the goal of totally mastering myself, my ego, and all of the human potentials blessed unto us by the Supreme Holy Godhead. In order to get back into the swing I am practicing like this: every time I see a clock or a watch, or any water, I check to see if I can put my hand through a solid object. In other words, if I see a river I do a quick check to see if this is a dream. If my hand passes through a solid object then that is the cue that I am in the dream planes. Sometimes I also do a 1/2 inch jump. If I float a little bit, then I am dreaming. After I do this many, many times per day, for a few weeks (21 days), it will become imprinted on the subconscious mind, and I will do these checks when I am dreaming too. This will set me up for nightly lucid dreams. Lucid dreams are an absolutely fantastic platform from which to launch out of body missions. If you would like to train in this same way, you can choose your own check, instead of a clock or water, it could be every time you see a cat, or every time you see a crowd of people. Whatever you feel will work. Then after 21 days you will start going lucid. You will control the content of the dream. Then you can meditate IN the dream plane. Then you can initiate an out of body experience, and verify the reality of it by confirming the location and/or identity of objects placed in set locations by a friend or fellow astral traveller. But one step at a time. First, just start asking yourself if you are dreaming, maybe 7 times each hour or more. That is your first mission. Pick out a dream-check cue, like seeing a clock or a cat or water. Once we are well trained we will meet at set times at set locations in the first subtle energy plane. This is the next stage in human evolution, and its going to be fun too.

Astral Combat and Psionic Astral Weapons

"Astral combat:This refers to actually fighting evil spirits on their own plane of existence. It can happen while meditating in a dream like state, while asleep, or otherwise astral projecting or having an out of body experience. There are several types of astral combat, and I will try to cover them all. feel free to post any questions or even pm me.Energy contests:An energy contest can happen between humans or human vs spirit. It involves focusing your energy to overcome your opponent. If you can focus the energy of your own soul and aura, you can then project that energy and attempt to engulf an enemy in it. In these contests whomever has the strongest combination of energy, knowledge, and force of will is most likely to win. Keep in mind that since spirits live astrally 24/7 they always have a greater knowledge with extremely few minor exceptions.Projected weapon:This works similarly to the energy contest, but the combatants form their spirit energy into weapons and weapon-like forms and battle each other after the fashion of the physical world. Energy, knowledge, and force of will are again the main determining factors, but skill plays a larger role than it does in a basic energy contest. Typical weapons are swords and dagger-like bladed weapons. Realistic battles:These appear to be normal battles as one would have in the physical realm, with some dream-like qualities to it. It takes place in a pocket dimension in the spirit world that is constructed by thoughts, emotions and memories of the combatants. It could appear to be in any time frame, but in my experience medieval settings are most common. Opponents look human, though they are often spirits. In fact it is very rare for two human souls to battle this way. These can be so realistic, that upon waking, one might suffer physical symptoms similar to those experienced during a panic attack: rapid pulse, irrational fear, shaking, inability to speak, and others. These are almost always temporary; in fact, I have only heard of one case where permanent physical damage was done. Supernatural battles:These can appear almost exactly the same and have the same effects as the realistic battles. The difference is that there are more than just minor dream-like qualities to it. Spirits may appear in their true forms, one might battle against monsters. Otherworldly weapons may be involved. These can be extremely strange, scary, and possibly dangerous. It is the most dangerous form of astral combat; for example, a demon in its true form could cause lasting damage; damage it would not do if it was in a realistic battle in human form. You could expect to fight shadow monsters, wizards, dragons, or any number of other bizzare and deadly creatures here. AVOID if at all possible. If you realize you are in an astral battle, you can easily flee to your body. Its just like waking up from a lucid dream.Specifics of types of astral combat and examples of their usesEnergy contests: These are very basic and happen all the time. Ever fight off an urge to do something you would not normally do? If so then you have fought and won an energy contest. It helps to picture your own energy aura, then try to find the energy trying to get through it. Picture how your aura moves, and try to see the opposing one if you can. You can, by concentrating, control how your aura moves, and focus it upon the area being attacked. Concetrate your aura in any weak points. It will seem to become thicker or darker, less likely to let anything in. Shielding will be exceptionally useful in this battle, so use it if you know how. (A shielding tutorial will be coming soon after this one). Once you determine where the attack is coming from, focus your aura in that direction, sending your energy to overcome it. If the other combatant does not give up and leave, your energy will strike it, causing it to weaken until it is forced away. Maintaining concentration is a key factor in successful energy contests.Projected weapon: As I stated above, this is almost the same as an energy contest. A key difference is that it happens astrally or in a meditative state more often than not. You will often see your opponent, and even seem to fight them as you might fight someone in the physical realm. The weapons used will be spiritual ones. Often, energy balls will be used as weapons, and shielding can be key to success. Someone's spiritual weapon will likely be the same color as their aura, and translucent (like a lightsaber). This is almost always going to be a one on one battle. There can be physical reactions to the battle, such as shaking; or flinching as if physically hit. There will be no physical damage from the battle, unless a twitch of the body causes you to strike an object in the physical."

The Astral Resistance

Welcome to the Astral Resistance. Our group consists of a growing army of spiritual warriors who train daily for the imminent final battle between Good and Evil. Our training is widely varying and consists of such methods and techniques as lucid dreaming, astral projection, affirmation, prayer, intention, shamanic practice, and more. Some of the tools used in the training include hemisync technology, brainwave entrainment, drumming, hypnosis, entheogens (where legal), ritual, temple worship, yajnas, agni hotra, biolocation (dowsing), holy scriptures, sacramentals, herbs, medicine wheel, and more. Our purpose is to pull together a battalion of quantum fighters. We now know that scientists have identified at least 11 different dimensions of reality. Most of us of course realize that there are countless dimensions, parallel universes and/or astral, mental and causal planes. Lord Jesu said "In my Father's house there are many mansions...". We have come to realize that everything which exists in our material world, existed first in another dimension. Thought comes first, then action and/or material reality follow. Moreover, the planes, universes and worlds are populated with all manner of astral creatures, spirits, aliens, thought forms and countless others. We realize that in the fight against evil, from which the good people of the world are under attack, the real battles happen on the subtle energy planes before they manifest on the material plane. This is where the Astral Resistance comes in. Some of us do reconnaissance or "recon". Others practice the divination in order to determine the movements and intentions of the enemy. Some of us install subtle energy devices to limit and/or destroy evil thought-forms and entities. Others use remote viewing for recon and scout work.
